Graphic Design
Here are all the graphics I've created using various Adobe programs, either for personal projects or school assignments alongside some examples of my skills.
Pooch - Brand Book

In my first year of university, I was tasked with developing a brand toolkit for a company randomly selected from a hat. The company I drew was a dog-walking service, which initially posed a challenge, as I had never owned a dog and came from a household where fish were the only pets. However, I sought insights from friends and peers who owned dogs, asking them about their concerns regarding dog-walking services. The most common concern was the potential mistreatment of their pets.
In response, I jokingly suggested that their dogs would be treated like royalty at my company, which sparked the idea for the brand name 'Pooch.'
Drawing inspiration from the Queen's corgis and show dogs, I created a brand identity for the dog-walking service that conveys the message that each dog is treated with the utmost care and respect, akin to royalty. This concept guided the development of the brand, emphasizing trust, quality service, and a premium experience for both pets and their owners.
To design the layout for the brand book, I utilized Adobe InDesign for the overall structure and Adobe Photoshop to create the mockups, ensuring a cohesive and visually appealing presentation.
Rastafarianism

As part of a collaborative project with 'Anyways Creative - London,' my university tasked us with rebranding a historical cultural movement or group.
For this initiative, I chose to focus on rebranding Rastafarianism. As a British Jamaican with a deep sense of pride in my heritage, I’ve often encountered misconceptions surrounding Rastafarianism, particularly in England, which draws significant cultural inspiration from Jamaica. However, much of this understanding is frequently inaccurate. To address this, I conceptualized an event aimed at educating people on the true essence of Rastafarianism, shedding light on what it means to be a Rasta and the cultural significance of wearing dreadlocks, or 'locks.'
Using Adobe Illustrator, I drew inspiration from the colors associated with Rastafarianism to create a minimalist and direct poster. The design incorporates original illustrations that reflect key elements of the movement, aiming to capture its essence in a simple yet impactful way..
This project provided an opportunity to foster greater understanding and challenge prevailing stereotypes, creating a space for meaningful dialogue about identity and culture.
Global - Summertime Ball

During my studies at Global Academy, I was selected to participate in a mentorship program, where I had the opportunity to work closely with the production and digital teams for the 2019 Capital Summertime Ball.
In this role, my primary responsibility was to collect SD cards from the photographers, curate the best thumbnail images, and apply graphics, using Adobe Photoshop, to ensure they were ready for immediate posting to various social media platforms, such as Youtube and Instagram, once each act had finished their performance.
Additionally, I proactively contributed in other areas, including assisting with talent management and supporting the setup of backdrops for pre- and post-performance interviews.
Wave

This project was a collaborative initiative assigned by my university, where we were tasked with creating a brand centered around emerging technologies, specifically Neuralink.
I developed the concept for a music app called "Wave," which would enable users to share and discover music recommendations through Neuralink. I found the concept intriguing and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the potential of the project. However, I encountered challenges in implementing the augmented reality (AR) component. Moving forward, I’ve learned the importance of seeking external expertise and building connections with individuals who can assist in areas beyond my immediate skill set.
I chose the name Wave for the project because it represents a common thread across several key elements: brainwaves, sound waves, and even heart activity waves. This concept of interconnected waves inspired the brand name. I aimed to create a sleek, modern design using Adobe Illustrator that would appeal to a broad and diverse audience, ensuring the brand stood out visually while conveying its core themes effectively.
Code Switch Exhibition

The Code Switch Exhibition was a project dedicated to women of color (WOC) who live stream, particularly on platforms like Twitch. I created an Instagram page where individuals could anonymously share their stories, aiming to establish a safe space for WOC to express themselves and destress through shared experiences.
The exhibition itself was designed around the use of projectors. Upon entering, visitors were greeted with positive messages, mirroring the support that WOC streamers often receive when they first establish their online presence. However, as guests progressed through the exhibition, they encountered a mirror, which placed them in the perspective of a Twitch streamer. The mirror then projected a stream of negative comments about their physical appearance and gender, illustrating the online harassment and trolling that often escalates the longer one remains in the public eye.
This project was deeply personal to me, as I had once been a Twitch streamer myself but had to step away due to harassment, including stalking and trolling. I created this exhibition with the hope that it could provide a sense of solidarity and support to others facing similar challenges, something I wished I had during my own experience.
For this project, I utilized a range of Adobe Creative Cloud applications to bring the concept to life, leveraging the unique capabilities of each tool to enhance the overall design and execution.
Umai Cafe

I was tasked with creating a mass-market brand within the food industry, and from this brief, I developed Umai Cafe. The concept is heavily inspired by anime and pop culture, with the goal of creating a vibrant space for anime fans to connect and build local friendships—a need that became especially relevant in the post-pandemic era, when face-to-face interactions had become more challenging.
The branding for Umai Cafe draws on the concept of a sticker, reminiscent of those commonly purchased by anime enthusiasts at conventions. Stickers often carry a sense of personalization, which I wanted to reflect in the brand identity. My intention was for the brand to feel friendly, approachable, and dynamic—evolving alongside the preferences and growth of its customers.
I primarily used Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for this project, with a particular focus on Photoshop to create the mockups, allowing for detailed and realistic visual representations.
